$20 is a steal! I'd be all over that if I were you.

Yeah... that's not going to work. You have to take it to the dealership so they can retrieve the 6-digit backup code from the radio, call it in to the GM supercomputer to get the 4-digit radio unlock code. They will then enter that code into the radio and it will work. This is all confidential to the dealerships to help keep douche bags from stealing radios.

Locked infinity rsd radio in 2002 chevy venture

Does the radio say "LOC" or does it read "000"? Which AC-Delco radio do you have? Are there 5 or 6 pre-set buttons for selecting a station?

Did you consult your Owners Manual? There is a procedure the dealer can do to unlock the radio, but I know how to get the unlock codes for free.

Change the battery on 2004 chevy venture

1st remove the positive wire from the post. Next remove the negative wire. Next remove any retainers that are holding the battery in the mount. After you free the battery, remove it from the vehicle. Reverse order of removal to replace. reset clock, and radio settings. IF your radio has an anti-theft device and it becomes active due to the absebse of power (battery removal) you may need to contact your dealer for the code to release the device. Good luck, I hope I have helped.

This may be worth a try... works on some of these... 01. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC) 02. Hold down the Radio Presets 2 and 3 buttons for six seconds 03. The radio display changes from LOC to a three-digit number. Write this number down. Don?t take forever, fifteen seconds max before the next step. 04. Press the AM/FM button 05. The radio display changes to another three-digit number. Write this number to the right of the first one. 06. You now have a six-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 03 and the last three digits are form STEP 05 07. Call 1 800 537 5140 08. Press 1 then # (pound). You?ll hear ?Invalid Code, try again? 09. Press 139010 then # (pound). You will be asked to enter your four or six digit code followed by * (start) 10. Enter the number from STEP 6 then * (star) 11. Listen to the four-digit number and write it down. It will be repeated twice 12. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC) 13. Use the MN and HR buttons to enter the code from STEP 11 14. Press the AM/FM button. The radio display changes to SEC Your radio is now ?un-locked? and usable. The Theft-Deterrent feature is STILL active! If you want to disable it, use the instruction on page 3-27 in your Y2K Owner?s manual. Use the code from STEP 11 instead of your personal code.

1997 chervolet venture radio reset codes

I had the same problem with a 97 transport. Here is a couple solution to your locked radio problem. This is assuming you have the ACDelco radio original to the vehicle. One way is to allow the vehicle to warm for an hour. After warming the vehicle press either the 1/2 or 3/4 or 5/6 buttons together. In two on the sequences, a three digit code will come up. Write these codes down. I called the original seller of the vehicle, (if known) or a GM dealer. Speak with the parts or service department. They do not have the 4 digit code to unlock the stereo, though they can make a call to ACDelco and get the code. The other way is to take it to a dealer and have them erase the code, which is approx. 30-50 dollar depending on the service station. Hope this helps.
