You would need to color match the wires in order to reconnect them so you need to locate where they were torn loose from and hook them back up and yes it will keep it fro starting

Tried to start engine yesterday, won't do anything, you can't even hear a click coming from the starter.Batteries are fully charged, just doesn't seem to have power going to the starter. I checked all...

You do not tell us what kind of car you are working on.. BUT, you need to check the wire that comes from the ign switch to the starter.. its the small wire. to see if it gets 12V when someone turns the key to the start position. Iit is not receiving power from the switch then the ign switch is probably bad. Or there is a short before it gets to tthe starter. Something to try.. Attach a wire 12Gage to the pos battery post. take the other end and put it against the post where the wire from the ign switch attaches. this should give you a postive indication that the starter works. Make sure car is in nutural.. it could ne a nutural safety switch if automatic or a clutch depress switch if it is a stick. Post and let us know what you find.

99 durango 165,000 miles runs good when running. It had the PCM changed when I bought it. Did a tune up and all maintenance. It would shut down after a while. Replaced coll temp, wire harness to PCM, map...

Make sure they put the right pcm in it. The dealer can tell you with the vin#. Then check to see that your pcm has that same number, letters etc. All may not be needed. Try to have the pcm#s when you call them

1995 quest wont start

Either the switch or the nutural safety switch is bad or the wiring from the switch to the nutural switch or the to the starter solenoid is open or disconnected. Either trace wiring or test or replace switch(s).

1999 Dodge Durango driver side window does not roll up nor down.

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.

Two of the plug wires got switched and i dont know which ones. its a 99 durango slt with 5.2 liter. if i had a picture or diagram to tell me where each plug wire goes i could fix.

the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 , distributor spins clockwise, so find number one on the distributor cap and then the next cylinder will be #8 and so on in a clockwise direction
