I have a Nissan 2007 Versa hatchback with the CVT engine. The A/C keeps cutting out after driving it for a while. The air flow becomes almost non-existent. Switching things to just air will get things flowing again and when I switch back to A/C it will come back on again for a while and then cut out again. It gets annoying to repeatedly have to switch back and forth on long drives. Can you tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

I had this problem and it took an engineer from Nissan Headquarters to fix it. You may have a belt of wires from behind the dash that have been worn and are causing a short. When the car is wet, the sound can be worse.

SOURCE: 1996 nissan maxima check engine light on car cut

yes it could be, but I wouldn't go changing $200.00 parts without getting it checked out first. There a lot parts on your car that will make it cut out. have the computer scanned and see what comes up

How to open hood 2008n nissan versa hood latch cable broken

I know a trick from a local body shop. If you have a sawzall with a metal blade, then cut the latch to open the hood, and go to a salvage or junk yard to get a replacement and install. Be sure to put a new cable in to replace the broken one, of course.

Nissan versa gas treatment

I agree with Gary, it's not likely the regulator. More than likely it is the check valve in the fuel pump that doesn't hold the pressure after the car is shut off. Adding a treatment won't do anything but drain your wallet.
