Question about 2005 Nissan King Cab
My left side mirror does not move can it be striped and repaired?and where would the obvious fault lie?
Often it is a wiring problem within the loom that goes to the door.
It is easier to strip the rubber boot off it, and check if you are actually getting a power supply to it. Use auto-wire strippers, and tape over afterwards, or push a map pin through the insulation - and put a meter on that.
At least this will identify if the fault is a power supply fault, or a break in continuity / motor fault.
Buying a good repair manual will give you the wiring colours to check.
