Question about Jeep Grand Cherokee
The wires in the door jambs on thses trucks are horrible about breaking. I am willing to bet you have 1 or 2 wires broken in the drivers door jamb. Peel the rubber boot back from the door side of the wire conduit and am sure you will find a few broken wires. I usually fish the wires back out into the body and solder new leads on for a long lasting repair. They come out into the footwell area but you have to remove the kick panel to gain access to them.
