I have a Crystler Town and Country 1999 van. The controls on the stering wheel stopped working all at the same time. Horn, Radio control buttons, and cruise control buttons.

Do you have buttons on the steering wheel for the cruise control ? Does your horn work ? There is a component under the steering wheel , on top of the steering column , called a clock spring ! I will include a video on it . Chrysler Van Clock Spring

I have a 2003 Town and Country mini-van and I lost power to all my ... In addition to this my wipers, headlight controls, blinker controls, power door locks, and A/C/heat controls are out as well. The odd thing is that the power windows work, the power sideview mirrors work, the radio and ceiling lights also work.

If the Air Bag light was on, it's a dead ringer for the "clocking" spring. If not, it could be the other circuit paths that go thru it, such as the horn and steering wheel controls. It will require the removal of the steering wheel, and installing a clocking spring can be real easy or extremely complicated.

Maybe you just have dirty contacts that you might clean carefully, or a loose or broken wire.

What you have is a bad clock spring, steering wheel will have to be remove to replace. if radio still work's, then fuse is ok bad clock spring.

Don't see how one would blow the fuse an not the other . The remote function is controlled by the BCM - body control module or vehicle interface . Regardless ,the module an the switch on the steering wheel both energize the horn relay ! Do you know what a relay is an how it works ?

these vans are known to have faulty clock springs, which can cause the problems. I think there's a recall on them...give your local Chrysler dealer a call.

there is no relay. both those go through the clockspring....

2001 town & country. My airbag/seat belt light came on, cruise control and horn stopped working. Dealer said it was the "clock spring" and usually covered as a recall item.

It happened to our 99 too, turned out to be inside the steering wheel. a coil that Chrysler recalled. It was a free repair at a dealership
