Question about 1997 Cadillac DeVille
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWER ... BUT IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE JUST A FUSE SINCE THE GAS FILLER DOOR DOES NOT WORK AS WELL ??? THIS PROBLEM STARTED AFTER I REPLACED THE BATTERY.
AND IF SO, DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE FUSE BOX IS LOCATED AT ??? I'M NO MECHANIC AND JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE THE FUSE IS GOOD BEFORE I TAKE IT IN ....
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.
Certainly possible, and sounds like it is just the fuse. Let's hope!
Check the trunk. When you open the trunk, it should be on the left side wall, behind a piece of carpet. Sounds weird I know, but especially if youre having problems back there...makes sense!
Also, when you find the fusebox, look for abbreviations on the fuse box door that sound like trunk (elec trk) or gas filler door. (GFD, FuelDR)
Good Luck, let me know!
