Question about 1993 Ford Escort 4 Door
Has it had any work done in the timing belt area of the engine or the ignition/distributor.Have you checked that the firing order and h/t leads are correctly fitted Also check that your pcv valve is working properly It could be a lot of different things so a bit more information would help to narrow down the problem

Sound like a misfire on one of your sparkplugs need to check plugs and wires to find which one. i recomend a tune up plugs wires fuel filter air filter. just good maintence
