Question about 2001 Kia Sephia
Around my front air vents next to windshield the dash board material is lifting and buckling and literally broke the vent covers. I have started to notice that on other Kia Sephia's they are having the same problem. how can i get the dash board to lay back down or is it going to be a eye sore from now on? it is pliable when there is enough heat but just will not stay down.
You can try using a heat gun on low setting, but I doubt you will have much success, I have the same issue on a car of mine, I bought a Dash Mate (brand name) to cover the dash top, it looks great and was cheap, the sun of course is the reason this is happening, the dash top mat protects the dash from the sun and will stop the damage.
