Unfortunately, the bulbs are not easily replaced, they are soldered onto the instrument cluster.
The only way I know of to do this yourself is to remove the instrument cluster, desolder the bad bulbs and then solder new ones in.

Another option is to remove it, send it out for repair or replacement.

What keeps the car from cranking up the starter good in the battery good and alternator is good on a Buick Lesabre 2000

Try starting it in neutral. It may not be completely in park. Most 2000 lesabre cars have a safety feature, where after you turn the ignition on. You will hear a double beep noise and immediately try to start the engine. If not that, a fuse or starter relay. The relay will be under the hood. If that doesn't work you must have a bad connection from the ignition to the starter.

I have a 00 buick century. i cannot get it to go past 2800 rpms in any gear..driving or at idle have changed icm. sounds like rev limiter kicks on. this happens when your driving as well

Thinking there is a rev limiter on that car,designed to work only in park and neutral
Sounds like maybe it's staying on,
My first thought would be the neutral saftey switch on the ******.

2000 buick lesabre transmission torque converter sensory relay my be bad. I put in in reverse i get nothing Put it in park or drive and it acts like it wants to go forward what is that?

I would say that the transmission is either way low on transmission fluid, or needs rebuilt. I would say I agree with the relay, but if the car tries to move, then it is not going to be the relay.

Shifter will not move into any gear when you press the brake peddle,engine runs fine,will not release out of park?????

Turn key to accessory position and put car in neutral to start it. Then you can drive it to have the shift solenoid fixed.

Locked up in reverse

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it happens again. It sounds like a valve got a little stuck. It's usually caused by dirty fluid. If it's bothering you I'd recommend replacing the transmission fluid if you haven't already. It can be full of worn or dirty fluid and still not work properly. Its a late model car so i don't think its the clutches. Hope this helps -J

I have a 1998 Buick LeSabre when I start the car it sounds like the car is still trying to start. When I but it into reverse or drive it will stop. I turned the key with out starting the car and ran...

the neutral switch is to prevent the starter from engaging if not in park or neutral - try just bumping the key switch without holding it - the key lock or ignition switch could be keeping power on starter or the starter solenoid could be keeping the starter engaged someone would have to be under the car listening or touching the starter to see this or measuring voltage on solenoid wire

1988 buick lesabre shifting gears problem

Hello;
You need to have the linkage adjusted. Over time, the linkage can go out of adjustment. If this is a column shift car the mechanical linkage may have shifted from hitting a bump or such. Hope this helps, let me know if I may be of further assistance.
Thanks;

I have a 1988 buick lesabre and when i go to shift in drive it says im in neutral and when im go to shift in reverse it says im in park?

Simple fix. The shift indicator cable attaches to the shift bowl at the bottom of the steering column. It just clips on the edge of it and can be slid around to adjust. You may have to pull the gear shift down to first gear to see it.
