First check the fuses... not just the ones under the dash but on the panel near the battery under the hood. find the starter relay usually located under the hood and replace it

How did you test for voltage to the starter. or does the starter just not turn over the motor.... does it just click ?

See how you go with that.

Check the starter, check the cable that goes from the battery to the starter. make sure its tight and not loose. take a hammer and tap on the starter. If the vehicle still doesn't start. Change the starter.

Did you replace the battery and alternator at the same time?Sometimes if you have a bad alternator and you put a new battery in,the bad alternator can completley drain your battery.

I try to start my Lincoln town car and when I turn the ignition on the electrical battery system goes down but won't turn over. I have installed a new car battery

You would need to take a meter or test light and check for power after the battery. You could have a bad connection inside one of the cables.
There should be 12 volts at the battery post and at the cable end on the starter. Also be sure and check the ground connections.

My 2008 silverado won't start battery is charged

No, it isn't an ignition issue.

Check power to the starter motor solenoid.
If this is getting power when cranking, then the issue is with the starter motor solenoid or starter motor. Replace.

2001 jaguar s-type won't crank battery new and charged. Turn the ignition car won't make a sound

many things will cause no start problems could have faulty ignition switch.use test light see if power going to starter if not check ignition fuse to starter.if power going to starter, more likely starter solenoid or starter faulty.if ignition fuse okay and starter and solenoid okay still no start problem could be in the ignition switch or inhibitor switch faulty.code scan for faulty theft security system which will also cause no start conditions.

The car will not start. All the lights come on, dash, interior and head lights. The car will not turn over. It does not even try to turn over. I looked at the battery terminals and they looked very clean....

COULD BE FAULTY STARTER SOLENOID OR STARTER. CHECK THEFT DETERRENT RELAY.SCAN WITH CODE SCANNER FOR THEFT SECURITY TROUBLE CODES.IF ALL IS GOOD.SHIFT TRANSMISSION IN NEUTRAL SEE IF IT WILL CRANK.FAULTY NEUTRAL SWITCH WILL CAUSE NO START PROBLEMS.

Rover Won't Start

Possibly a bad starter, need to check for power at the starter to verify. The big wire is from the battery, the small wire is from the ignition. If you have power on both wires with the key in the crank position, you have a bad starter. If you dont have power on the samll wire when cranking, then you need to test your ignition and neutral safty switches.

My car won't start it simply keeps clicking when the ignition is turned on, turned on the lights , radio and interior light all was working what is happening

Sounds like you need to replace the battery, the battery can have enough power to run lights, stereo, and other accesories but it takes alot of amperage to power the starter motor, so if that is the case you will hear the starter solenoid clicking but no action from the starter. Good luck. !
