Won't start

Maybe your injector circuit is not working. Pull off one injector connector and check for power on one of the two wires to the injector-turn key to on, and one wire should have power. If no power with key on, pull off all injector connectors and recheck for power- a shorted injector may shut down the injector circuit, that's why to pull off all injector connectors. If still no power on one wire to each injector, diagnose the injector drive circuit. Also check the fuse for injectors.

Where does the fuel line at the end of the injector rail run to on a 1991 rodeo

All fuel injected systems have a feed line to the engine's fuel rail to keep constant pressure at the injectors fuel entry point. A tiny bit goes into the engine cylinders when the computer allows the injector to open by a signal pulse.
And the rest of the fuel in the rail is pushed by the pump back to the gas tank by a Fuel Return Line (what you are seeing and the other line in all fuel injected systems.
Think about it. The pump is running constantly (with the engine), so to avoid pressure build-up, or having to continually turn the pump on and off, voila, put in a return line after a pressure regulator gets the pressure right in the rail, and let the excess go back to the tank. Pretty good idea: no stale gas left there on top of engine. I hope this helps you understand it better.

How to seat fuel injecters

Assuming the injectors are already installed in the fuel rail, put a little fuel on the injector seals, position the injector rail in front of the holes in the head.
Start from one end of the rail and work the first injector into its hole a little bit, but not all the way. then do the same for the second and third. Work them in a little at a time so the injectors dont come loose from the fuel rail.
Once you get all injectors completely into the holes, rotate each of them back and forth until the injector turns smoothly when you rotate it. Once an injector rotates smoothly its seated correctly. But only rotate them a small amount back and forth.
If the injectors are removed from the fuel rail, do it the same way. Just install them in the fuel rail first, then install the rail/injectors into the cylinder head.

FUEL INJECTORS WON'T LET FUEL PUMP OUT

Check your fuel filter and see if fuel is getting through it. You will know whether to look forwards or backwards after looking at the filter.

If you have the switchable gas tanks check the switch. Usually one side will always work, but if it came apart inside it may block the lines.

Since you have pumps at the tanks you should be pushing fuel, not like a diesel that pulls fuel. I would say a TPS (throttle position sensor) could be bad as it tells the injectors to let the gas in, but you say the injectors are dry. When you test, block the TPS open a bit or test for fuel before the injector rail.

94 jimmy turns but wont start, I replaced the fuel pump and

see if your getting fuel to the top, find the fuel rail on the top of the motor you will see a bleeder valve push in the the little serator valve and see if fuel comes out. if not the pressure regulator could be bad. if none there take the filter loose on the pump side and see if fuel comes out there. i believe this has the spider type injector setup on it and this could be bad.

1995escort no run has fuel and spark

Take the 2 bolts that hold down the injection rail out and pry the injectors out of their holes carefully, crank the engine over and see if fuel is coming out of them, on the right hand side of your fuel rail is a schrader valve (tire valve) push it in and turn the key on does fuel squirt out, if so and there is no fuel coming out of the injectors, the injectors are probably clogged, you will need to remove them from the rail and clean the tops and bottoms, if you cannot clean them, then you will have to replace them, you can get used ones from a wrecking yard fairly inexpensive. Hope this helps, let me know
