You can either use saddle soap and scrub with a sponge or you can buy one of the ultra concentrate cleaners on the market. I use something called Advanage from www.advanagedp.com and with that I put it on with a cloth and gentlely rub.

If the leather is dried out or cracked you should also buy a leather preservative to put on after you clean. So far, I haven't found one that is any better the the next so won't recommend one.

How to Clean Auto Leather

I use Griot's Garage leather care products and have been very pleased with the results. Thy have a leather care spray that will clean light dirt, but very dirty leather may require an interior cleaner that is PH blanced so it does not dry the leather out. Then after the leather is clean, allow it to warm in the sun and apply leather care, leather 3 in 1 or leather rejuvenator, all excellent products, that will sink into the leather and keep it supple and prevent cracking. I would not use shoe cleaner as that leather is dyed differently and may be too harsh for fine leather as is used on vehicle seats. Also keep in mind that in most vehicles, only the leather "seating surfaces" are actually leather, the rest is matching vinyl so be sure to test anything you use on a non-visible spot first.

As for repairs, there are kits available to repair holes and rips. Many are simple and require a small patch behind the leather and the placing of a color matched "goo" on top of the patch and pressing of a grained paper over the goo to resemble the leather graining, so it looks similar when dried.

Best of luck.

What's your problem?need to remove smoke odors from car

there are several types of sprays to clean interriors. one is for carpets and fabric other type is for plastic other is for leather or vynil.

first of all you need to clean interriors by sweeping it with vacuum cleaner and with water and natural soap. do not use lots of water since you will need to dry it later.

after cleaning interrior you need to proper liquid to clean related surface and wiping it with a soft quality cloth.

in general fabric surfaces like top lining and seats and carpets require two pcs of sprays(multi purpose interrior cleaner). if you seats are leather covered you need leather contidioneer. after cleaning fabric and leather. use plastic cleaner in pressureized spray cans. after wiping off all left cleaning agents, clean windows with only alcohol with a microfiber cloth.

this will take normally 1 to 2 hours. use gloves.

I have a 2010 Honda accord v6 leather beige interior. It gets dirty, so if I buy seat covers for my car, can I will feel my seat warmer through my seat covers?

you can fit covers BUT any dust that gets between the cloth and the leather will act like a scourer and take the shine/laquer off, making it even harder to clean in the future.use "simple"(unperfumed)soap to clean the leather, and wipe with a damp cloth after.

Can i change a ford explorer cloth interior and trim for leather interior and trim. And if i can will the heated seats and memory settings on the front seats still work? Many thanks to anyone who can help...

Yes you could do all that, but it would be cheaper just to buy a explorer that has leather, that car isnt worth $1500 and leather seats will be $500 each, unless you find one in a salvage yard that you can get parts out of?

Seats (grey/leather) -1995 900 Turbo SE

Neoprene two tone seat covers are available at State of Nine but are pricey. You can spend about $250 and perform a DIY leather repair and dye job to the entire interior. Here is what I did, using leather cream crack filler and auto leather dye. It lasts about three years and then requires touching up.
