Question about 1996 Chevrolet K1500
My truck stalls while driving down the road, and then starts up again. The radio and blower stay on after shutting down. I changed the fuel pump thinking that was the problem and still quit.
I have a 99 CK2500 that had simular problems. If at a stopsign or redlight some times it would die. If under way it would cut out for a second but not die. It ended up being the crank sensor. Hope this helps...Justin

Possibly a simple fix? It sounds to me like you have a wire not connecting fully all the time. My first guess would be to check the ground wire that goes from the frame to the top of the gas tank. If the wire itself seems intact, check and/or clean the connection at the frame. Can't hurt to try it.
