Your best bet is to have a windsheild glass removed and resealed . they will put an extra amount of silicone sealant threre to help with the leak if they can. if the leak is on the body then your going to have to have a body shop take care of that for you..

How to stop water from coming in the passenger floor board

That depends upon the cause of the water. There are a few possibilities, depending upon the vehicle. See this list and use what applies as a way to narrow down the source.

1. Rust hole in floorboard. Only way to fix is to repair hole.
2. Leaking door seal on passenger side. Locate and repair leaking seal.
3. Leaking sun/moon roof. Some vehicles that have these run their drain lines down the passenger side door pillar and down thru the floor pan. Sometimes the hose shrinks with age or breaks and allow water to get on to the floor. Remove the passenger side kick panel and inspect and repair as needed.
4. Leaking heater core. Feel and smell the water. If it smells like antifreeze or has an oily feel, it may be coolant leaking from the heater core. Of course there should be a loss of coolant associated with this problem. Here the only solution is to bypass or replace the heater core.
5. Leaking windshield seal. Most car windshields today are glued into place. These glue joints can break loose and allow water to leak. Also, rust can form around the windshield seal and cause rust holes that can leak. Lastly, extremely high-powered car stereo systems that pump mega-bass can cause overpressure inside the vehicle that can cause the seal of the glass to separate.

Where should I look for rain water leak?

Most water leaks come from around the windshield area. Has the windshield been replaces recently? If so it may not be sealed properly. Another area where water may penetrate is through the cowling area under the wiper blades/arm where fresh air enters the car. There are water drains under this cowling allowing water to drain and if they are plugged with leaves/debris, water will enter the vehicle. Is the vehicle rusted around the windshield area? If so, suspect this to be the source of water intrusion. Most glass/windshield repair companies will diagnose water intrusion problems

1995 saturn! new water pump, and coolant. Changed alternator, and battery, changed oil, oil filter. noticed oily substance in overflow container. did a radiator flush, still has red, rusty color somet

Coolant is oil based. The oily mess in the overflow could be very old coolant. Or it could be engine oil from a leaking head gasket.
The rusty stuff on the floor inside the car could be from a leaking heater core.

Rain comes in and sloshes around the floor in right back seat area. Not sure if it is from after-factory installed sun roof, windshield, or rear window. I've heard that there is a product you can shoot...

Often just like a roof leak in a house, you have to look into the places you wouldnt think of. Could be a leak from the sun roof going down the inside of the roof and down the side to the floor. Does the hatch have a leak in the seal? Sometimes you can have a drain plug up that will let the car pool up. Does the sunroof have a catch pan and drain tubes. My prelude (factory sun roof) had plugged drains and leaked. If you find that you have a leaky Window, DONT USE SILICONE!!! The acids in the silicone will blister your paint and make your car rust. If the rubber (Im assuming that you or someone reading this may have some rubber seals on their car) is pliable enough they make a glass seal that is to seal the glass to the rubber.

Hope this helps some... Dale

Water on pass side floor every time it rains think air vent plugged looking for a drain for air vent

check the windshield posts from the inside remove the front a pillars then poor water over the windshield edges accross the top of the roof. Sometimes rust forms between the windshield urethane and the metal surface where the windshield seals. If you see water coming down the post you need to check all the roof seam sealer points for pinholes and under the windshield urethane. You can do this next time you change your windshield. Next check for leaves stuck in the drains of the cowl venting and make sure the drains are free to drain.

When it rains the drivers side floor board is wet. It is not leaking from the roof.

Hi,
it sounds like your windshield seal is perished.
Try pouring some water onto the windshield rubber seals from the outside and see if you can find the leak.
There are several commercial windshield rubber seal repair glues out there which you can use to fix it. Try an auto or hardware shop.
It is also possible that the water is coming thru the car body so try removing the plastic kick panels around the drivers foot area and have a good look for rust.
The worst case scenario is that there is a hole from possibly rust from under the area where the dashboard meets the top rear section of the engine bay area.
Cheers,
Steve

When it rains my information center located in the middle roof leeks really bad

The two options for the leak will be the antenna seal to the roof or the windshield just forward of the information center.
Does it leak only when your driving or will it leak when the vehicle is setting in the driveway?
If it is leaking when setting in the driveway, I would suspect the antenna seal.
If it leaks while driving, check the windshield seal.
You can use a garden hose to isolate the leak.
Good luck, let me know.

1995 bonneville water problems

I had a similar (and maddening) problem with my 1994 Bonneville SSEI. Try the following!

First, check the roof drains from the moon roof. The drains on the Bonneville from 1992 until 1999 are often and easily plugged. This simple check can be properly accomplished by first opening the moon roof, secondly finding the front drains (usually near the four corners of the moon roof) and third using low pressure compressed air to "gently" clear them. After clearing, you can check proper drainage by the drains by pouring a bottle or two of water directly into the drains and then looking beneath the car for the water that was drained.

Secondly, check the quality of the drain hoses from the moonroof. You can find them by carefully removing the plastic covers on each side of the the inside windshield pillars. Check out the hoses for proper connection and that they remain in good shape. The moon roof drain hoses can sometimes become disconnected or even disintegrate with age to the point that they leak.

Third, check the door seals and make sure that they are properly functioning. This can usually be accomplished by making sure the seals are not torn and ascertaining if the seals are properly secured to the door jams with adhesive. If not, reinforce the adhesive with additional adhesive.
