Need to replace a part on jaguar x-type 2002 that is found in front of the radiator that runs from the top to the bottom of radiator. It looks like a pipe, but I don't know the name for it.

I think your refering to a upper radiator hose. This is a plastic and rubber assembly that goes in between the engine and engine cooling fan. If so the part number is C2S43430.Let me know if you have anymore questions...

I have a 2006 X type 2.5 jaguar. The temperature gauge goes right into the red. The sender has been changed twice but problem still remains

sounds like the cooling fan has failed or the themostat is stuck closed or maybe blocked radiator the best way to test is to feel the top radiator/hose compare to the bottom hose if top hot bottom cold the coolant not circulating properley my advise start by changing the thermostat

Cost to replace upper radiator hose 2002 Jag s-type Had oil changed and was told inspection revealed upper radiator hose leaking. replacement $360.00 plus tax. I have had no signs of thermastate...

it could be a weeping leak......that has not become so bad that the coolant is causing air to get into the system and run hot....the hose is about 130 bucks and about 1.5 hours to change...then coolant is 20.00 per liter from dealer so 360 is pretty close to the actual charges. But open the hood and let the car reach temperature and look for the hose running up the back of the from top to bottom.and see if you smell any coolant.

Locate oxygen sensors for 02' jaguar x type

A LITTLE HELP! THE O2 SENSORS ARE LOCATED ON THE EXHAUST PIPE! THERE CAN BE AS MANY AS THREE OF THEM! ON A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, THE FIRST ONE IS LOCATED BETWEEN THE RADIATOR, AND THE ENGINE TOWARD THE BOTTOM! EACH ONE WILL HAVE A PLUG IN WIRE ON THEM! THEY ARE LONG CYLINDRICAL LOOKING TUBES STICKING IN THE EXHAUST, YOU CAN EASILY SEE THEM!

How do i drain the radiator on a 2002 jaguar x-type

below the radiator you will see a hose on the passenger side. Yes, you will have to remove the lower tray to access this. The lower hose attached to the radiator has a plastic drain plug attached to the bottom of the hose. Unscrew with a slotted scewdriver counterclock wise to drain the radiator. It will drain faster if you remove the cap from the expansion tank on the drivers side.

Where is my radiator on an 2002 X-type Jag. It overheated this evening and I don't know where to check it?

follow the big hoses that go to the top and bottom of engine-may take some time with the mess thats under that hood--also look for a fill cap stating coolant--later get to a dealer and let a tech show u the basic engine parts so u wont hav to walk-cheers

Remove rear door panel on x type jaguar

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door
