Was it a factory GM pump? Check for power at the Grey wire going into the pump it should have 12V for 2 seconds after you turn on the key so you cant do it by yourself get someone else to either turn on the key or watch the test light, If you have no fuel pressure but have 12V for 2-3 seconds then you have a bad pump and be sure to double check the Ground make sure its clean and secure also change the fuel filter at the same time. Forget the oil changes they do nothing for the car oh yea change it one every 4 or 5 years is way fiine but change the fuel filter EVERY EVERY 15,000 miles no matter what. If this information helps please give me a fixya rating.
Oh yea make sure you buy a Factory GM pump you'll be gald you did,

Humming from the engine

Look for the humming noise, sounds like a relay. Small black or grey cube.....then try to find out what it controls. Let me know where it's location is.

Ford f350 w/ 351w no start. Has spark and fuel but you can hear the relays clicking and the coil hums.

You don't say what year the truck is, but it could be a faulty EEC relay. You would need to trace the coil voltage circuit to find out why you don't have full battery voltage with the key on.

Why won't the fuel pump shut off

Fuel pump won't be the cause. Most likely the relay.

I have a 1991 hyundai scoupe it's not getting fuel. We replaced the fuel filter didn't help, what next?

under hood look for main fuse box, open box under lid you should see location of fuel pump relay, check the fuel pump relay. if not that, the fuel pump is next. when you turn the key to the on position,do you hear a humming sound for about 10 seconds from under the car? it may take 2 people but try turning the key on for 10seconds and have someone listen under drivers door for that humming, try it about 5 times. not hearing humming?either it is a bad fuel pump relay,or a bad fuel pump. thank you for choosing

2001 Lincoln LS V6. Had the fuel pumps replaced about 3 months ago. Now the power to fuel pump "comes and goes" (I have the back seat out and pump covers off so I can hear). The fuse in the trunk...

The vehicle has one fuel pump and it is controlled by the rear electronic module .
Free wiring diagrams here
Enter the vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine . Under system click on Engine , then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Then click the search button , then click the first blue link . The fourth diagram down . You will see fuel pump relay , rear control module , fuel pump module ! I would check the rear electronic module .

Tahoe will turn over but doesn't start. Just replaced the fuel pump about 4-5 months ago. The fuel filter was replaced as well and there's enough gas in it. What could be the problem? I read about not...

Have you tried to start it with starting fluid? Sometimes the aftermarket fuel pumps don't last long. Especially if the filter is not placed right on the bottom of the new pump. You should be able to take off the gas cap and hear the pump run for about 3-5 seconds when you turn the ignition on. If you don't hear the pump running then it is either your pump is bad again or the relay under the hood is not working. You can swap the relay with one next to it to see if it is bad. When you swap the relay turn on the ignition again and see if you hear the fuel pump.

Will not turn over at all

Hi, you need to either check that you have enough power, check that the starter is good, or check the starter relay to start. When you turn the key in the ignition do you hear clicking or anything?
