Tip & How-To about 2002 BMW M3

This means your throw out barring is out. Very Expensive to fix because it is in the center of your transmission. This sound comes on when you are not in gear and you take your foot off the clutch while idling.

Strange noise coming from under timing belt cover! It's a content rattling sound...but no service warning lights have come on and Kia said they didn't pick up any codes with their computer!

it could be the timing belt idler pulley , this wont throw any codes till it fails and engine skips time!! if you have the means now its less expensive to fix it now then after it fails all the way

What would cause a code 4354 on a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia?

the code means something but only if the engine make , type and transmission make and type is known
Freightliners run 3 different engine and up to 4 different transmissions and the code will be specific to that combination
take it to a freightliner service center and have it fixed

i have a knocking noise coming from my front driver's side of my buick regal when i drive slowly and speed up (think coming to a stop sign, not necessarily bumpy terrain). it doesn't happen all the t

Noises can be very difficult to fix. The customer and mechanic don't always hear the same noise. I would recommend taking it to a different shop and taking the mechanic for a ride to verify the noise.
Could be a motor or transmission mount, something in the transmission, or other things.

2000 yr.isuzu 250 kb diesel has a noise coming from gearbox area when moving into 5th gear

Its a manual trans right? Those are probably worn syn rings in the transmission, or a loose throw out bearing on the clutch. but if it was a throw out bearing it should be happening in all gears. So its probably worn sync rings in the trans. this means you need your trans rebuilt. go to a local trans shop. to make it shift easier for now, try to match the speed of the car with the speed of the engine. what i mean is when upshifting to 5th gear, wait for a sec til the engine drops in rpms to shift (wait til the rpms are they would be right after you shift into gear). This will allow you to shift without syncs, and make it an easier shift. don't worry its easier then it sounds. but best to get it fixed

2005 Kia Rio keeps on throwing check engine light with speed code error code. Dealer replaced plugs, wires, rotor cap, and speed sensor on transmission. The light still comes on. When gas peddle is stepped on hard, engine rev but trany doesnt shift. Can any one help define the problem and/or solution?

take it to an accredited service center as the engine light is reading a transmission fault indicates by your transmission doesn't shift comment
The dealer has just cost you lots of cash and hasn't fixed the fault simply because he didn't read codes first
