I just purchased a 1987 vw cabriolet wolfburg edition and the car loses power and overheats. The waterpump and thermostat was replaced but it didn't solve the overheating problem. Any ideas? Could it be the airflow meter or something more serious like the headgasket? How can you tell? Thanks for your help.
