want to remove and replace the distributor in my 1997 gmc

1 Remove the plastic cover from the engine block with a wrench, then let the spark plug wires lead you to the distributor. It's at the back of the engine block.

2 Remove the negative cable from the battery at the side of the engine compartment; carefully pull the spark plug wires off the distributor cap so you don't damage them. Use a screwdriver to take off the coil leads from the distributor and the electrical connector at the bottom of the distributor.

3 Loosen the clamps and take off the distributor cap. Mark the parts to align the rotor position to the distributor housing and the housing to the engine block. This will help replace parts correctly during distributor installation.

4 Unbolt the distributor hold-down bolt with a wrench and remove the distributor from the engine.

5 Install the new Sierra distributor, aligning the marks for proper seating in the engine block. When ordering the distributor, give the parts dealer your model, year and engine size. You can order part number A1841639 from Parts Train for a 4.3L engine.

6 Re-install the distributor hold-down bolt. Replace the distributor cap and put the clamps back on. Attach the electrical connector at the base of the distributor, put on the spark plug wires and coil leads, and hook up the negative battery cable.

I need "step by step" instructions on how to replace the fuel filter on my 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup. Thanks !

Here you go if it is a diesel:
A. FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT:
The fuel filter is located inside of the fuel filter housing
1. Unscrew and remove fuel filter cap at top of fuel filter housing. To unscrew, attach tool to 6-sided hex center of cap. Do not loosen cap at outer edge. The fuel filter cap is designed to remove filter while pulling up on cap.
2. Remove O-ring from cap and discard.
3. The filter is retained to cap with little fingers. Carefully pry a couple of them off from old filter.
B. FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT:
1. Thoroughly clean inside of filter housing, cap, etc. with clean diesel fuel
2. Fill filter housing (canister) with clean diesel fuel. NOTE: If you do not do this, you will have to manually bleed air out of system later. No fun.
3. Snap new fuel filter to bottom of cap.
4. Install new O-ring
5. Apply lihgt film of clean diesel oil to cap O-ring
6. Load filter/cap into housing.
7. Tighten cap to 25 ft. lbs. torque. Do NOT over-tighten.

How to put in a headlight on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer

Hello,
Please follow the stepwise solution carefully.
1.Open the hood and disconnect the truck's negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the grille. Unbolt and remove the plastic panel over the radiator, then use a flat screwdriver to release the clips securing the grille at the bottom to the headlight panel and lift the grill off.

3.
Pull up the retaining tabs for the headlight housing, which are on opposite ends, and carefully pull the housing out. Remove the park/turn signal bulb socket from the housing by detaching the holders and electrical connectors and disconnect the side marker socket.

4.
Take off the circular access cover from the rear of the headlight housing. Twist the bulb in a counterclockwise direction, withdraw the bulb with its electrical connector from the housing and disconnect the electrical connector.

5.
Hold the new bulb by the holder--do not touch the glass--as you connect the electrical connector. Place the bulb in the housing and twist it clockwise to lock it in place. Close the access cover.

6.
Install the headlight housing into the panel, connecting the electrical connectors, signal bulb socket and side marker socket. Push the retaining tabs in place.

7.Reinstall the grille and plastic radiator panel and reconnect the negative battery cable.

Problem solved.

Take care.

Where is the fuel filter located

Fuel Filter - Removal & Installation
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4. Twist the quick connector 1 / 4 turn in each direction to loosen any dirt that may have accumulated in the connector.
  5. Use compressed air to remove any dirt in the connector.
  6. Squeeze the plastic tabs of the male connector and pull apart.
  7. Remove threaded connection from the filter inlet.
  8. Remove the filter.

To install:
  1. Position the fuel filter, making sure it is facing in the proper direction.
  2. Attach the outlet quick connect line to the fuel filter as follows:
    1. Step 1: Be sure the connector is clean and that a new plastic retainer is used on the filter.
    2. Step 2: Apply a couple of drops of engine oil to the male pipe end of filter.
    3. Step 3: Push the fuel line onto the fuel filter until the plastic retainer snaps into place.
    4. Step 4: Check that the connector is locked into place by trying to pull the connector from the filter.
  3. Install the threaded connection to the inlet side of filter and tighten to 22 ft. lbs. (30 Nm).
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Pressurize the fuel system by turning the ignition switch to the ON position for 2 seconds. Turn OFF the ignition switch for 10 seconds. Turn ON the ignition switch. Check for fuel leaks.

Good luck (remember rated this).

On buick LeSabre the fuel filter will be under the car passenger side just in front of the rear tire . Follow the fuel line and you will find it there.
