no wash capability with the rear wiper

Remove the hose from the nozzle and see if anything comes out of the hose. If it does, then use fine wire (like a strand from a multi-strand wire) and push it through the nozzle to clear it. if nothing comes from the hose (and the line isn't frozen) check the filter screen on the pump.

Fix washer nozzle

Unless it's already broken, try putting a fine piece of wire (like one strand of a multi strand wire) into the nozzle tip to clear it out, then blow some compressed air through it. Every nozzle is attached differently and I don't know even what car you have but one waring that applies to all, is do not take it off when very cold or the plastic will snap.

2005 Grand Cherokee driver side windshield washer has finally stopped spraying. Passanger side OK also Back. what do you suggest.

remove the hose that goes on the spray nozzle and run the washer. If fluid comes out of hose, use a fine piece of wire (one strand from a muliti-strand wire is good) and clear the nozzle outlet. compressed air will also work but be careful not to break anything. If nothing comes out of the hose, trace it back till you find the break or kink.

i CAN NOT GET WINDSHIELD WASHER SOLVENT TO COME OUT

Make sure that it can squirt from the hose on the nozzle. if it does, clear the nozzle orifice with a fine wire (like a single strand of a multi strand wire)

window washers

Hi Alan,
The nozzle seems to be blocked so I would first of all try using something like a toothbrush or kitchen pan brush to poke the offending particles back in the direction they came from. Use a little water too. If that fails you could try a very thin sewing needle, or one strand of the wire in a wire brush but I start with soft materials first.

If these suggestions do help you solve the problem, please give my reply a rating to help others judge my knowledge / guessing skills! If they do not, please add a comment with more details so I can try to help you further. Cheers, D
