I replaced the battery, alternator, starter in my 1997 Buick Le Sabre & but it doesn't start unless I get a jump.

you have perhaps corrosion or loose connections at the battery. if you see corrosion brush it away or pour a soda solution on the corrosion. coca cola or any carbonated soft drink has enough soda to burn off corrosion

batt problems termal all chorid

battery terminal problems can be handled with simple steps Firstly remove both terminals and clean posts with sand paper. clean inside terminals until shiny metal. Remove corrosive gunk with a mixture of sodium di carbonate(baking soda from the kitchen). It will fizz up and neutralise the battery acid on the terminals and on top of the battery Was clean --replace the terminals --- and use crc soft seal to further protect the terminals from a reoccurrence of the problem

Fist thing to try for a quick fix would be to clean terminal posts. It's a pretty easy do-it yourself project.

To do this find where your battery is connected, remove the negative battery cable (black with a - sign) then remove the positive terminal ( red with a + sign). Clean both the terminals and cable end with a wire brush. If heavily corroded, use a paste of water and baking soda on a toothbrush to scrub then rinse off. This may bubble and foam when it comes in contact with the corrosion. After you've rinsed off any remaining baking soda, replace the positive terminal first and tighten, then replace the negative terminal and tighten.

If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd have the alternator tested and replace if necessary.

Good luck,

Brian
