Tip & How-To about Chevrolet Cavalier

Caviler wheels

The rims on the 93 Caviler have a tendency to bend because they are very difficult to get off if they have been on the vehicle for awhile. It is a good idea to remove the wheel and take steel wool or emery cloth to remove the excess rust as it will collect and then the wheel will have to be beaten off which usually bends a rim.

93 caviler rs...I need to put passenger window back on the track its completely off

you will have to remove the door panels and remove the motor assembly. likely a piece has fallen off or deteriorated causing the track to stick and thus the problem. if any parts are bent and you can bend them back this will fix it too. but remove the window completely to do this procedure. if the window is a manual window, then same deal. remove the window and all the parts and re-assemble if you can or buy the broken pieces from a junkyard first then from the store if you canot find them in a junkyard.

Steering wheel wobbles and van goes right if one lets go of the wheel.

Your vehicle's steering geometry is out and looks like either you have a problem with any tire either on balance or any bend rim after hitting something strong .

trying to take the right rear tire off. can't get

Sometimes the rim will stick on the hub or brake drum. Get a big hammer (3-5 lb. hand sledge) and a piece of wood, a 2 x 4 about a foot long works good. Make sure the car is lifted and on a jack stand, dont just rely on the jack itself. Hold the wood over the inside of the rim this is so you dont hit the rim directly with the hammer and whack it good until the rim pops free. Make sure to hold the wood from the opposit end so you dont pinch or hit your hand. I just had to do this on my sisters focus last weekend. I hope this helps.

Those Wheels are putting a Strain on the Pump. The Suzuki has not Compensated for the Installation of Larger Tires and Wheels and the Pump will only Handle the Factory Wheels. Notice how Light they are compared to the New ones. Not a Lot that can be done about this Problem.

it is more than impossible to find them used, you may have to buy them new from the dealer, tell them what you are doing and they can sell you the correct assembly.
