im getting codes p0300 p1168 p1051 when i took it to advanced. Just wanna know what they mean and what might need to be replaced under the hood.

P0300 means random misfires, multiple cylinders, and could be due to most anything - fuel, ignition, vacuum leak, bad compression, etc. The other two codes, P1168 and P1051 are specific to the manufacturer of your vehicle. Since you did not provide make, model, or year (or engine size), no valid assessment can be made. Please post another question specifying the make, model, and year of your vehicle, and also provide the symptoms that prompted you to take it to have the codes read (other than the check engine light). Maybe someone familiar with your vehicle can provide some better assistance.

trouble code p0685 vehicle wont start dont know what p0685 is please help

I cannot give you any specific help because you did not bother to mention YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, or ENGINE SIZE of the vehicle you are trying to get information on.

The "generic" description of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0685 is: "ECM power control circuit malfunction."
Yup! this would DEFINATELY keep your engine from starting! It means that the ECM has no power to operate the engine management system. So, now you know the WHAT part of the equation. You must now diagnose, using the correct information for your particular vehicle, to find out the WHY.

Why is my speedometer working one minute and not the next? This is not free and you should be ashamed of yourself!

Well, I am answering you for free...I am not ashamed...

First, to answer your question, it would help if you posted the year, make, and model of your vehicle. Second, we would like the engine size. Third, if you do not know how to identify your engine size, please let us know and we can tell you how to determine this. And last, is it an automatic or manual (stick)?
