Tip & How-To about Porsche 911

HOW TO GET HELP FROM OUR EXPERTS!

Believe it or not we are not all blessed with ESP!

Please be as specific as possible with part numbers and actual detailed info about your problem. "My car will not start." gets you nothing. Also, any advise you receive takes for granted that you need not be told to do anything dangerous with-out knowing enough not to do it in the first place. Let us now how technical you are. We will answer your problems fittingly.

Thanks.

Special note: for the first person that I give a bad answer, I will personally replace the product with a new one. max 1.o mil eu. You must prove me wrong to qualify.

Audi A6 ESP question

you probably have a faulty abs sensor, the whole system gets information from the abs. If that sensor is reading improperly, it thinks the car is doing something it's not supposed to and it's reacting.

what is the esp button on a Chrysler 300 3.5 v-6

The ESP button turns off your Electronic Stability Program. When that function is off, your vehicle will not respond as quickly and aggressively to your driving conditions. The ESP system actually applies your brakes just a little bit to specific wheels when you make a hard turn. It helps keep your car under control when you make a sudden swerve or hard, fast turn. You would only really want to turn it off when you want to let the vehicle deliver all the power possible to the wheels. If you are just driving normally, leave the button alone. It is a great safety system. ESP does for ABS what ABS does for standard brakes.

Car wont start. makes sound attempts to but wont start. checked fuel injector and fuel filter all good

The problem you describe is not very specific. There are a number of things that will cause the car not to start.

Keep in mind there are only three things (but possibly multiple faults) that will keep the car from starting:

1. It is not getting fuel: Is fuel actually getting to the injectors? (If not there might be a fuel pump or electrical problem)
2. It is not getting air: Is the butterfly valve on the air intake opening? (might be a choke problem)
3. It is not getting spark: Remove a spark plug, re-attach it to the plug wire, hold the plug grounded to the engine block and have someone crank the engine for a few seconds and watch the spark plug gap to see if you are actually getting a spark. If there is no spark, there might be a coil problem.

If you can narrow it down to the specific cause, the solution becomes easier to find.

I hope this helps you out.

God bless and good luck.
