Tip & How-To about Chrysler 300
The greatest tip I could ever give to anyone trying to save money on car repairs is buy the manual. Advance Auto and Auto Zone are nationwide. They sell a manual called Haynes for every car ever made. I have relied on Haynes for every car repair I have encountered. What Haynes does is tear down a model car and then put it right back together, and they take pictures during the entire process. This enables them to provide a detailed, step-by-step procedure for every repair your car needs.
Please stop in to your local auto parts supplier and ask for these manuals. They will tell you everything you need to know about your car. What kind of oil it requires, how much oil, where your battery is located, where that thingy-ma-do-hicky is that no one can seem to identify, proper tire air pressure, etc.
Once I had a VW Jetta. I had to replace the intake manifold, a project which is insane from the get-go. I bought the manual, read as I worked, was able to fix the problem and move on with my life.
They will prove an invaluable tool for you as well, I guarantee it.
