Tip & How-To about Honda Accord

Change the Cabin Filter on 2003-up Honda Accord

Want to save yourself some money and change the cabin filter on your 2003 and newer Honda Accord? The dealer will charge you up to $120 to perform this simply 5 minute or less repair which should be done every 30,000 miles at the same time you change the engine air filter. It will cost you nothing more than the price of the cabin filter. Go to any local Auto Repair store in your area and purchase a cabin filter for your Accord. I recommend Purolator or Wix filters as they are quality made. The filter is located behind the glove box and unlike some older Honda Accords is very easy to access and no tools are required to accomplish this repair. Simply watch this video I made and you will know exactly how to accomplish this maintenance.

how do i change my front headlght bulb

I replaced both stock 9006 low-beam bulbs on my 2004 Accord. Despite much info on removing fenderwell splash shields, I was able to open the hood, and reach the passenger side harness, remove plug, twist and remove bulb and reinstall- no problem. Driver's side required removing the battery, but same procedure. No problems, no cuts or bruises. Owners manual is unclear, Hayes 2003-05 Honda Accord repair manual is wrong, and the dealer charges $29.95 per bulb installed. Took me 10 minutes. Tried to save the radio settings with a 9V battery in the power plug (memory-saver) but that didn't work

does 1995 accord have a cabin filter, and how to change it?

I checked, and could not find a part listing for your year. Apparently Honda began using cabin air filters in the 98 model year of the accord. (that year and newer is, I believe easily accessed from behind the glove box. ( I changed an 04 accord recently, which was easy to replace).

how to change the 2005 honda accord cabin filter

Its directly behind your glovebox and seriously takes 3min to replace. Open your glove box, directly to the right you will see a sort of tab you can push that will let the glove box come further even more, itll let you bring the glove box down enough to see the cabin filter. From there its self explanatory. Do it yourself and save you the $50 the dealer would want
