This is fairly standard for all vehicles some are slight different but this is the most common
car is off place key in ignition then find trip A reset button hold this in while holding button in turn key to on but do not start the dash lights light up hold the trip button in and the key in on position until the maintenance light turns off. then start engine it should be gone. Place your left hand on the top of the steering wheel and place your right hand on the key.
Wiggle the steering wheel left and right, and attempt to turn the key into a different position, such as the "Accessory" or "On" position. Continue until the key moves freely.
Turn the key back to the "Off" position, then pull key out ignition
