You did not mention which engine you have, but YES, it is necessary to remove the upper intake plenum to replace the spark plugs on the rear bank of most Toyota V-6 Engines. This is why many tune-ups are as expensive as they are...The old days of getting a 6 Cyl tune-up for $59.99 are long gone...

The blinking typically indicates that there is a problem with the AC system. Have someone check the refrigerant level as the best idea for a first place to start.
I have 3 codes from
P2111 - Throttle Actuator Control System Stuck Open.
P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control System Stuck Closed.
P2238 - O2 Sensor Positive Current Control Circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 1
For the P2111 & P2112 you will need to replace the throttle body this can be pricey since the TAC is built into it. Try cleaning it good and see what happens. This can also trigger the P2238 code if its dumping fuel.
For the P2238 check the connections on the o2 sensor or replace the upstream o2 sensor that should correct it.
I ran low on gas
There are always deposits inside the fuel tank. Usually, driving around with more than 1/4 tank slshes them around enough to keep them out of the fuel pump screen. But, when you run low on gas, the sediment gets sucked to the screen, and blocks your fuel flow. If the solara is built like most toyota cars, there will be an overhead access to the tank. This is located under the rear seat bottom. Remove the rear seat bottom by pulling up on the back of it first. then tilt the rear toward you and push the front of the seat about 1/4 inch backwards. This will disengage the front clips of the seat. there will be a little circular cover with 10 or 12 bolts under there. remove the bolts and lift the cover. Pull the assembly out. You have the fuel level and pump assembly in your hands. At the bottom is a little motor and a fine mesh screen. When clean, this screen is white. When dirty, its usually a brown-orange color. You can get this screen from autozone or advance.

It sounds like there is a short in your alarm system which is draining the battery while the car is sitting. Try jump starting the car, then pull the fuse which goes to the alarm system. If the vehicle takes a jump and starts, and you can't locate the fuse right away, disconnect the positive battery terminal when you let your car sit. When the car is running the alternator will keep the battery charged.
