Try getting the error code by using a plug in diagnostic unit, the code should give you a good starting point, but in any case you should be able to clear the error code with the unit after you make a not of it and maybe with it being intermittent it might not reappear. But heck out what the code is before clearing. the diagnostic units are available quite cheaply on auction sites.
I have a 2004 kia sadona and when i have ac on and
The gas smell may be from filling the gas tank too much. When filling tank, do not over fill tank. when the fuel nozzle clicks off the first time do not add more fuel. It will back fill into the emission evaporator canister and therefor smell like gas fumes until the fuel tank get's lower. on a hill the gas in the tank may flow into the opening of the evaporation canister. I have had this happen and thought it was a leaking fuel line. Don't over fill Fuel Tank...

If you radiator is full ,as in you have no leaks, it is most likely going to be a water pump issue. Unless you have a serious clog in the system, but chances are its the water pump, not an uncommon thing to go wrong
2004 kia sedona crdi fuel system diagram
Why do you think you have an air leak in the system? whats the issue? typically if there is a leak its gas coming out not air going in. Are you low on fuel pressure or something? is your fuel pump weak? fuel filter clogging?
Have a 2004 Kia Sedona... it struggles to start
Would you have more info on that? White smoke is typically a sign of coolant burning unless its just the typical smoke from a car warming up. You could have a very small head gasket leak that allows a bit of coolant into the cylinders when the engine cools down,(gap gets bigger) and when it warms up it seals up again. Also related to a hard start if coolant is fouling the spark plugs. The clanky sound, is it permanent or does it come and go?
2004 Sedona catalytic converter blockage, can you avoid replacing them?
I would go to a different shop. 1 being blocked is possible but all 3 at once is usually not the case and I have seen a car have 2 but not 3. Look at it this way if you have a v engine that's 2 one on each bank of cylinders where's the third one. If the second shop tells one is bad then it needs replace.

Wiring diagram for a 2004 Kia Sedona - need to run dedicated cable for handicapped lift in rear
Glad to read you are a supporter of best practice.
I am not sure what 12 ga cable is. During my education it was number of strands and diameter of each strand, thus 13/0.012, 18/0.012, 63/0.012 and so forth. These days we are supposed to forget all that and specify the cross-sectional area - in mm would you believe.
I have worked on a few Sedonas but I can't tell you how or where the harness runs but I can tell you accessing the rear of the stock harness in order to fit tow bar wiring is not a simple task. When wiring the auxilliary socket I opted to run those dedicated cables to the battery along the underside sleeved in budget fuel hose. I have never felt following a stock harness to be the best or ultimate routing and wouldn't use that method unless it was more convenient.
Those Sedonas, incidentally, were fitted with a power socket in the rear load space for charging laptops, torches and suchlike up to 16 amps. Perhaps that might be convenient for your purpose?
I am diagnosing overheating and power steering
There are 2 tanks on a radiator. One on top and one at the bottom. They are what seal the top and bottom of the radiator core. You will also find an overflow tank connected by a small hose near the radiator cap that connects to the overflow tank. The overflow tank is where you top up the coolant. One some coolant system, the overflow tank is pressurised and the "radiator" pressure cap is on the overflow tank, on others the radiator pressure cap is on the radiator and the overflow tank is unpressurised.
