Programming your own personal entry code
To program your own code:
5. Enter factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed).
6. Press 1/2 control within five seconds of step 1.
7. Enter your personal 5 digit code.
Enter each digit within five seconds
of previous one.
8. After the code is entered, the
locks will cycle, confirming that the
new code has been set.
Do not set a code that includes five of the same number or presents
them in sequential order. Thieves can easily figure out these types of
codes.

Keep in mind, if the battery is ever replaced or goes dead, the keycode will revert back to the factory setting.

Ever have the fuel pump replaced ? Classic symptom of long crank time ,the check valve in the fuel pump module is bad . Hooking up a fuel pressure gauge to check for fuel pressure bleed off . Fuel bleeds back into the tank. Try spraying carb. cleaner into the throttle an see if it starts sooner ! I would imagine you don't have a fuel pressure gauge to test it the correct way .

the test for a battery is a load test using a small machine designed for that purpose
any multimeter across the terminals is not a test of battery condition

if you can locate blower motor,follow the wires from the motor about 15 inches away those wires plug into the resistor

Looks like 99 to 01. they are a pain to pull. I would go mine before pulling another. Old vehicle. Junk yard part. Most likely you have many plugs to replace on it.

PATS doesn't disable spark or fuel . disables starter circuit !

It depends , what's the RPO - regular production order code ? Call the dealer with the code an they can tell you . Or hook up a up scale scan tool . one that will talk with all the modules on the computer . You could down load Forscan to you lap top an go on ebay an by a ELM327 wi-fi , this plugs into you OBD2 connector on the vehicle an communicates with the forscan scan tool .
