It would be unlikely that a heater core - a/c blower would be running or supposed to run a 30amp fuse, a 10 amp would be sufficient for that curcuit, or it could overheat the wiring in a fault.

Trace the wiring back, check for power from the fuse and trace it down to the fan, to check the fan run power into it and see if it operates.

Check the fan resistor.

Does this car have 2 fans? YES . The blower motor control processor is probably the problem . Near the blower motor under right front dash .

This may be related to the antitheft system. The remote start bypasses this system so the vehicle will start without reading the key. You have a failing secuirty system. The system is known for turning off the starter and/or injectors when it fails. Normally when the injectors are turned off, the car will run for a second or two, and then stall. When it's the security locked out starter, you won't even hear a click when you turn the key. Is there a light on the dash that says SECURITY or a picture of a car with a lock through it? This is a common problem worth looking into. Do It Yourself GM Security bypass

Check the battery - probably has a broken or shorted plate.

You can use an OBD scanner if its available or you could try to disconnect the battery for ten minutes.

It should be under the plastic engine cover right next to the throttle body.

Ohh... The notorious caddy starter. Lol
It's under the intake manifold. I've done a few. Unbolt throttle body from intake. The throttle body kinda loose where it is. Remove intake manifold. You can't miss it once intake is removed

Your car has a specified change engine oil system..it is based on recommended miles buy the manufacturers..it is not critical that you immediacy chage the oil..a lot of things determine that..one is how you drive, where you drive if you drive only highway miles in a clean enviorment could be longer..in a dirty air enviornm or in daily stop and go city traffic could be shorter...you know the conditions so use that as your change oil time or simply follow the cars signal to change..good luvk

I've found three sites on the Internet that post the codes. I don't have links to them, but they're easy to find.

there should be a decal under the hood somewhere that shows the belt routing.

if this is a transverse engine #8 is located at front of motor and to the left by the drivers side. if its a conventional set up then it is located on the drivers side at the rear by the fire wall.

Get one of the neighborhood kids to hold the accelerator pedal down for you...RALOL! Just kidding.

Since I don't know what your automotive skill level is or what diagnostic tools you have, I would first have to ask you- is the "check engine" light on?

Perhaps you can borrow an OBD reader from a neighbor, friend, or relative that has one? or perhaps renting one out from your local auto part store? Sometimes the counterman may have one readily available and will check for any fault codes for you.

It's possible that you may have a problem with the mass air flow sensor or a leak in the mass air flow duct leading to the throttle body or a faulty Crank or cam shaft positioning sensor or anything else in between. Unfortunately, without a code reader to guide you to the source- it would be guess work.
