HI, For your Lexus this may be the same as a Check Engine Light, which is telling you something needs attention. Take the LX to an Auto Parts store and asked them to scan your car for codes stored in the engine's computer (ECM or PCM). They'll usually do this for free. Possibilities: - Loose gas cap - low brake fluid - O2 Sensor(s) Also, Your LX is very similar to the Toyota Sequoia which also had VSC issues. Search online and you may find your answer. GL, TD

You might need to turn it off manually because there is a switch in the car that is meant for switching it on and off or setting it to come on when doors open and go off when doors close.

have you owned the car since new? it may have a alarm system installed that you may not know about (happens a LOT)

this light must be manuely reset so it does not continue to remind you of needed service. your service manuel should have a reset proceedure in it.

There is a plastic tab that a screw goes through. Into the top corner of the headlight, closest to the front marker light. If the screw and or tab is missing, it was broken off at some point. There are three points on the backside of the marker light lens. That hold and secure the fixture. With firm pressure you must pull the marker light lens straight forward, out of its fixed position. Plastic trim removal tools make removal easier. You can pry on the rear edge of the lens without damaging the paint on the fender or the lens itself.
