Was run perfect, but after a short stop, the ''glow plug'' indicator, is not as usual ''turns ''ON'' and fater a few seconds ''OFF'' with a ''Click'' - but not indicator is ''blinking/flashing'' - even if start motor turns the engine with normal speed, engine dont start, even after pulling the car 8 km.
Guess it must be a faulty censor some where, but what??

That symptom is either the glow plug temperature sensor on the engine or a you have a burnt out glow plug or two.

Hi i keep getting a engine managment light on ,emmision on the tubo, all i want to know is which scan tool to get to reset the light, i bought a suzuki scan 1 tool which has an obd1 adaptor when i plug it in it is not recognised,all i get is error,do i need another adaptor any help would be great thanks chris
my 1993 very recently aguired.Grand vitara deisel. has imoberlised it's self. have had guys up with computer diognostics and found it in safe mode.found fault on turbo charger fixed it..all go, went for a short run ..great turned it off and on twice all fine.....next morning it had imoberlised itself again guys came with computer no fault found.. but it still will not start....help please........

The power light is on on the dash of a suzuki vitara v6 automatic. What does this indicate?
turn the power switch off for the transmission. It is not a warning light. It just indicates the power switch for the trans is on which lets the trans delay shifting in each gear so it allows the engine to get more RPM'S so it produces more HP and Torque.

99 Suzuki grand vitara front end problem. clunking sounds coming from the front end.when in a parking lot turning a corner going over a speed bump there is a lot of noise coming from the right front i replaced the right front axle .but its still macking the same noise . im going two replace the sway bar ends twoday as the rubbers are all shot thanks Rob
also change the struts (shocks) .

O2 sensor is located on your exhaust around the catalytic converters

My grand vitara has been diagnosed as misfire at #4 cylinder what troubleshooting sequence should i take
change spark plug, clean distributor, rotor. before you put the spark plug put a engine oil cleaner to cylinder #4 to disolve carbon.

Turns at times won't go ,then when does start cuts out
i would get the OBDII codes read as could be a number of things , codes will tell you which sensor/switch etc causing the problem as there are quite a few things that could cause these symptoms
