Very hard to diagnose nav /stereo units. Check fuse box to make sure it's getting a good power supply. Try spraying WD-40 or contact lens cleaner in the switches to see if any of them are stuck. Consider replacing entire unit w/ one from eBay, preferably with some kind of warranty. Also, check Crutchfield.com for new alternatives. A factory replacement, if you can find one, is likely to be really expensive.

Youtube may have a video showing where an how to replace it . First off did they tell you what code ? You can check the code yourself by turning the key on then off three times an the last time leave it in the on position . In the odometer ,if any codes are stored in the PCM - engine computer they will show there . P2156 P0131 code could show up to a couple hundred . Google what you see .
