2006 dodge 2500 diesel air conditioning not blowing cold air compressor engages , blower works , freon is normal capacity
It's an electrical issue as I've been trying to get to the bottom of mine for a while. I have a new switch, blower, actuators, actuator motors, compressor, accumulator, etc all new in my truck. The ac turns off on its own and back on by itself. It even affects the switch for the heated mirrors. After I installed my new ac system, I then connected my Autel shop scanner to my truck to try to pinpoint the issue which is electrical. I'll be more than happy to share what it is once I find the exact problem
2006 dodge 2500 code P0533 How do i fix
P0533 A/C Pressure Sensor High.
It could be low on refrigerant, or it could be a bad sensor. Back-probe the
pressure sensor connector (on the discharge line, near the compressor - it's
a 4-way connector) on the dark blue wire with the engine running and the A/C
turned to max. If you get no volts, or 5 volts, the sensor is bad. 4.5
volts indicates a properly-operating system, while less than 4.5 indicates
low pressure, and anything above indicates high pressure. If low or high pressure is suspected, verify with a set of refrigerant gauges.
If warranted, the sensor can just unscrew. You won't lose refrigerant -
there's a valve built in to the line to prevent that. Make sure to use a
new O-ring and lube it with the proper oil if you do change the sensor.

Once a-pillar covers are removed and cowl vent cover is removed remove glove box. There are 4 screws that hold cup holder remove those. 4 10 mm boots in center. 1 or 2 10 mms attached to heater box. Remove steering column completely. Makes it easier. 13 mms at firewall and 4 13 mms holding column. 2 10 mms holding dash to cowl above column. (Hidden by column) remove fence bolts from by windshield 3-4 10 mms depending on year. May be 7mms screws it's been awhile since I've done one. Unplug all electrical connectors driver and passenger side the drivers side is screw style. Make sure to unplug radio antenna wire. Remove brake stop lamp switch by twisting counterclockwise while pressing on pedal to avoid losing adjustment. Remove Scuff plates from entry doors by driver and passenger seats by pulling up from rear of plate and then gently rearward to avoid breaking. Remove side panels from dash with a screwdriver or plastic pet tool gently and the remove 3 13 mms bolts each side and the dash will lift up and lay on seats or can be removed from vehicle to expose heater box for service. Please keep in mind the both a/c and coolant need to be drained for full removal of heater box from vehicle.
Unleaded gas in a diesel fuel tank
do not worry about draining it, pour about 6 to 8 ounces of engine oil in it, and top it up with fresh fuel, it will be fine. The only way to drain the tank is to remove it and turn it over.
I have an 06 dodge
Check what voltage is needed to make them work. Then check what voltage you have wired them up to with a voltmeter.
Air Conditioner fan not blowing
You may need to replace the reostat in the heater box. Do you have the hi speed only? Only have off and I, then it is definitely that switch in your box. You can easily replace it.
I have a 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab. When I am trailering, my electric brake box has no power and the left side trailer turn and brake light will not operate, left side trailer tail light works fine! Had
Try cleaning the fuse contacts, it may not work but is worth a try. I used an ignition breaker points file that i ground a bit off one side so it would fit in the contact slots when the left turn signal and brake light wouldn't work and it was successful on my 2009 grand caravan. I didn't know there was a problem until i hooked up the trailer and saw it had no left brake/stop lights. I used a small test indicator that plugs into the trailer connector and has 4 leds which light up when each item is activated. use a trailer connector kit that has the male and female connector connected to a 4 foot long wire set I bought at Walmart. I plug it into the car connector with the test indicator plugged in the other end and held on the rear window by the wiper blade so i can see in the rear view mirror if all the lights work. For a sedan I put in on the ground, anchored by any tool handy, so i can see it in the side mirror. It beats running back and forth to see if I made a repair.
