Vehicle won't shift correctly. Start the vehicle, accelerate, shifting works but upon coming to a stop, the vehicle will not up/down shift until the vehicle is turned off and back on. My transmission shifts perfectly for about 15-20 minutes than will downshift as I am coming to a stop, and then will stay in first gear until I cut the car off
Lets all get together and form a class action law suit. This should be a recall. but no body has been killed yet.Our tax dollars get to bail them out so they on keep making defective products.I wounder would they except defective money for there cars.

what do i need to replace to fix error code p0700 on a 2002 dodge intrepid
(DTC) CODE # P0700....Transmission Control System (MIL Request) Translation: Transmission Control Module (TCM) Malfunction or Failure. P0700 Information Code The Transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. If any malfunction is detected, the TCM informs the PCM by sending a signal (P0700 code). P0700 means that a code has been set in the TCM. This code is for information ONLY. If this code is present, check for transaxle codes. So basically, the P0700 code is telling you to check the TCM for a transaxle DTC. The TCM can not turn on the check engine light so it has the PCM do it.
I hope this helps....let me know if I can assist further !!

there is a part under the hood toward the front of the car that is leaking red fluid does anyone know what could be the problem or at least what part that is?
The red fluid is transmission fluid, check the transmission fluid level, if it get's to low the transmission will burn out and your looking at a expensive job.
The fluid could be leaking from the transmission cooler line to the radiator in front of the car. Have it repaired and keep an eye on the fluid level to the transmission. Note: transmission fluid is flammable and may catch fire if slashed on to any hot area's like the exhaust.
Good luck and hope this helps.
