Brakes not release
Sounds like your master cylinder relief port is getting plugged up. If it is feeling like a hydraulic lock ( feels like it hits something solid when you push on the pedal) I would venture to guess that the fluid is not getting a chance to flow back when the pedal is released. The easiest thing to do is replace the master cylinder and then bleed the brake system. Your wheel cylinders/calipers could also be corroded to the point of being stuck which may also exacerbate the problem...especially if you live in the northern part of the country and drive in road salt a lot. I would start with the master cylinder replacement and see if that fixes your problem,...then if it doesn't .....you will have to service the wheel cylinders/calipers after the master is replaced.
How do i find a diagram showing my front end sway bar bushings?
The sway bar bushings are under the large clamps that hold the bar to the frame. The ends of the sway bar are connected to the struts by the sway bar links. When the links wear out, they clunk--not squeak. The bushings are under the retainer in the pic below.
How to change front axle studs
U hammer them out and then use a new nut and a sleeve (a short piece of pipe works) to pull them back into the serrated opening. Use lube on the nut and sleeve when pulling the new studs in place.
