Keeps blowing fuel pump fuses. any ideas why?
Hi well im assuming that this is something that has just started , the first thing you need to do is start at the basics, get under the truck and go to the fuel tank. try to access the fuel pump connector (4 wire connector on top of fuel tank) may be able to excess from area between the frame rail and tank on drivers side ,if that tank is a side mount tank. unplug this connector and try to install a fuse .. DONT INSTALL A LAGER FUSE THEN RECOMMENDED OR HARNESS DAMAGE MY AND WILL ACCUR . If the fuse stays intact u most probably have a shorted fuel pump
How can I fix the radiator on a chevy s10 1988?
what's wrong with it? is it leaking and from were? if its a small leak from a core then you just have to remove it and take it to a repair shop and they will fix it, if leaking from the cap then a replacement cap is in order, if you have plastic thanks mounted on yours and one of them is leaking then the repair shop can replace them or a cheaper bet is to get one from a recycler or junk yard.
1988 s10 wont shift into overdrive
Does it have long shifts in other gears? if so, check the vacuum line the the vacuum modulator near the back end of the transmission. It is about 2 inches in diameter. If the hose is good replace the modulator. If you have good shifts, Then you are in need of a transmission rebuild. Clutches are worn out.

Oil and refrigerant capacity for 88 chevy s10 pickup
There should have been a sticker on or around the accumulator with the specs.
Oil capacity is the amount drained from the old compressor, plus 3 oz. for the accumulator. Freon charge would be around 36oz or 3 cans.
You would put in 2 cans and then add until the pressure readings are within spec.
