Fuel injecter fuse blow imeditaly when ignition turn on
sounds like a short in the wiring from the fuse and the fuel injector junction block. GM like most fuel injection systems control injector firing by the computer providing ground to each injector in pairs or individually. The fuel injector fuse provides power to the injectors using splices therefore enabling one wire to feed 6 injectors. A shorted wire at any of these wires will blow the fuse. On one rare incident I found a faulty computer caused the fuse to blow. A shorted injector will just cause a rough running problem due to the injector stuck either open or closed.
What causes brake shimmy C2500 1991 5.7L?
Brake shimmy is due to hot spots on the rotor or drum the metal is actually hardened in the spots causing friction differences when the brakes are applied causing front end to shimmy . If you have your rotors turned the hot spots are still present so I have always justr replaced rotors pads all at once shimmy gone .
On my 1991 chevy truck, the transmission will not shift on time
No...but check to see if there is a vacuum modulator on the right side of the unit. If you have one, remove the hose, loosen the clamp and turn it so the line fitting points down, then tap on it. If fluid comes out, replace it. Also check that throttle cable going to linkage is adjusted properly.
No power to fuse panel in cab
Sorry if this does not fix it, but on the heavy duty version of these cabs there is a maxi fuse that protects the inside box. check for a maxi fuse and or the terminal off the under hood fuse box that feeds the inside box.
91 chevy C2500 where is the cluster ground located?
IN cluster wiring the earth wire is incorporated in the plugs and is normally plain black. It stays in the harness until it reaches a point where it can be earthed out as most dashes are plastic and will not pass current. A wiring diagram will how where it earths out.
Battery cables touched to wrong post now no power to start key
I hope you allready checked the ignition fuse carfully, if so there may be a diode in the circuit which could have poped. A diode only alows current flow in one direction only, and by reversing the power leads the revers current may have exceded the diodes rating
I have a 91 c2500 that wont blow heat or ac. The
It may be a disconnected or blocked vacuum hose first place to check is on your radiator. The heater hose is the 2nd hose just below the radiator cap. Then follow it's path to the heater core to assure it is connected, all while checking for leaks or possible blockage.
Starting problem
It sound to me like the
starter is getting saturated with heat. But that’s just me I would add a heat shield
to help or even wrap the starter in Kevlar.
