i have a 78 chevy and mine is at the bottom of the steering colomn right at the fire wall

1365472, 1 3 5 7 are on the pasengers side 2 4 6 8 are on the drivers side.

it is past time to buy a new lock cylinder, you can find them at parts stores and dealers. you can find a video on youtube or buy a repair manual on eBay to see how it is done. you may want to put a new ignition switch in while you are at it.

The switch is mounted on the top of the column down by your feet. You can unbolt it and test it. To crank the engine the power on the large RED wire is connected to the large YELLOW wire.

Remove the heads and send them to a machine shop

on the light switch you should be able to turn to the left and right to the left dims them to the right brighten them

1. Place lock cylinder in RUN position.

Do not remove the ignition key buzzer.

1. Insert a small drift pin into the turn signal housing slot. Keeping the drift pin to the right side of the slot, break the housing flash loose and depress the spring latch at the lower end of the lock cylinder. Remove the lock cylinder.

WARNING Considerable force may be necessary to break this casting flash, but be careful not to damage any other parts. When ordering a new lock cylinder, specify a cylinder assembly. This will save assembling the cylinder, washer, sleeve and adapter.

thers an accelerator linkage hooked to ur trans-called a tv cable-u can ajustit by hand-itz up by the carb--go to a partz place and they can assist u if difficult--dont forget car is over 30

one will connecdt to the water pump and the bottom of the radiator. The other will connect the thermostat and the top of the radiator. The small third hose is just an overflow line. It usually connects to a nipple by the cap on the radiator.

For this truck, if all the lights aren't coming on, it's usually the headlight switch. The headlight switch rotates to change the intensity of the dash lights, but if the resistor goes bad, it will cause the dash lights to go out. If only some of the lights are out, you need to take the gauge cluster out and replace the bulbs in the back.

Remove the horn button, nut the pull the wheel off with a puller.Remove the lock plate retaining spring using a Lock plate press. Remove the directional switch screws (3).. Lift that switch out of the way to remove the ignition lock screww

Reverse this procedure to install

Use a industrial vacume tester, check each port coming off of the manifold, run your lines.

first of all, check to see if you have power to brake switch. if you have power then maybe the switch is bad or needs adjusting. most switches are located on top backside of brake pedal.

go online to autozone.com, sign up(its Free and safe) then go to their repair guide section.... it is priceless

on a 77,no,try wiggling the turn signal switch left to right,you may need to replace it.

Replace the catalytic converter.
