2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, Diesel 6.6L. I put it in park, wasn't able to use reverse. A short while later wouldn't go into drive or move forward. Now the truck won't move at all.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Did it have antlers? Did it go under the truck? My thought it that it either caused a fluid leak or it tore wires off the transmission casing. Transmission functions can be checked electronically with a professional grade scan tool computer. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Light green trailer

Did you check for voltage at backup lamp fuse, use a test light. The actual diagram I copied was larger than this and easier to read. This must be a site issue, common to fixya. You could even use a long piece of jumper wire from battery voltage to light green trailer wire, to see if lamp will light. It would'nt hurt to use inline fuse, for testing. If lamp still won't work, maybe problem with trailer wiring. You could even use jumper wire to bypass the connector itself, same color wire? backup lamps-aj1rpdh53jp2gu4acg2fxcgh-4-0.jpg

2002 chevy silverado 2500 hd with duramax no brake or steering power. do I need to replace or repair hydro booster?

It definitely sounds like the hydro booster. There are videos on YouTube that shows you how to do either. Depending on your skill level will determine which one you do. The main issue is bleeding the air out of the booster. It can be difficult. You will also need to bleed your brakes completely afterward. GMs are notorious for having the hydro boosters die on them.

Where is the g200 ground located on a 2002 silverad 2500hd 6.0. HOw do i get to it. i read its on the A pillar

Any component that has a ground problem, why not try a redundant ground wire to see if components will work ok? A redundant ground hasn't failed me yet, I suppose it could, but, so far so good. In my database for ground distribution wiring, I didn't see a g200. I even looked at wiring for engine control diagrams, couldn't find G200. Is there a component that is having a problem?

The voltage needle is bouncing. The batteries have been checked. The alternator has been checked. They are all good, any ideas? Thanks for any help.

This could be from current sensing from the voltage regulator. Get another meter and hook it up and see if it bounces. If it does, there is nothing to worry about. If it does not, the dash gage panel needs to be reworked.
