blinking overdrive light , not wanting to shift gears
Have the vehicle scanned. The overdrive light is like the check engine light for the transmission. There are transmission codes in the ecm if the overdrive light is blinking.

get a p1400 code check engine light
P1400 - DPFE (Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic) Sensor circuit Low Voltage
The DPFE sensor is usually not hard to
change. There are 2 small rubber hoses that run from the EGR tube to it...
Replace DPFE sensor, reset engine fault codes. The Ford one is a good one and rockauto.com
carries Airtex. Sometimes I hear that this change always need replace EGR valve to delet all codes. Test it.
Good luck.

code p0301 and p0316
P0301 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0316* - Engine misfire detected on Startup (First 1000 Revolutions) Could be a Bad Coil or bad spark plug or a bad wire on cylinder one. Check the plug and the wire first then move to the coil. Good Luck.

Both new calipers and pads,,new master cylinder,,bench bledbefore installed,,no leaks on both rear wheel cylinders,,brake booster test,,,ok! Seems ok when manual bled and air bled engine off,,did bled same sequence but pedal goes to floor when engine run,,would say,,,,no brakes at all, abs pump problem? Pls need some input,,,$500 est at least down for parts ,,still no brakes at all?
for the pedal to go to the floor there is still air in the brake system. Start again starting from the longest line bleeding each in turn to the shortest line . make sure you have adjusted up the rear brakes before bleeding as every time you press on the pedal the shoes expand right out and when you take your foot off the pedal the shoes go all the way back in. adjust them manually and do not rely on the self adjuster as it only adjusts on wheel movement
