Try wiggling the key and tapping near the ignition and see.If the Key starts turning in the ignition. Also spray wd-40 in the ignition switch hole and let the wd-40 spray liquid remain in there for 30 minutes then see if you can turn the key in ignition.Try this wd-40 spray couple of times,if still the same problem then, the ignition has to be replaced. Also the keys are to be reprogrammed by the dealer.Without getting your car key reprogrammed they will not work with new ignition lock cylinder. This problem is very common in ford focus, many other users too have noticed this and are very disappointed with the ford service due to this problem.Click this link directly to see the same problem with other ford focus users;--- http://www.carcomplaints.com/Ford/Focus/2003/accessories-interior/key_wont_turn_in_the_ignition.shtml ----------------- Thank you.

It sounds like you are confused about how your headlamp system is supposed to work. The DRL does not run on the High beam circuit, it runs on the low beam circuit. The fog lamps are supposed operate with the park lamps and also with the low beams, not the high beams. From your description, I would say that your system is operating as designed and you are having trouble telling High from Low. (Don't feel bad, that is why high beam indicators were invented in the first place.)

Hi Thomas, I'm glad to help!

Thomas, by your wording I'm assuming you have removed the vacuum line at the under hood cruise control unit and you have NO VACUUM there. If I have understood this correctly then your next step would be to follow this vacuum line all the way back to the engine take it off and using a vacuum hand help pump see if the line will hold vacuum. NOTE: If it doesn't then check the line to see where its broken or cracked. NOTE: If it does hold a vacuum your next step would be to start the engine and see if there is vacuum at the vacuum port on the engine where you removed the hose from. If you have no vacuum, find something small enough to push into the hole to see if its stopped up with debris. If it does have vacuum all the way over to the control unit then you next step would be. NOTE: Remove the connector from the control unit and with a test light see if you have power to the connector, then check to see if you have ground there as well. NOTE: If you DO NOT have Power then replace the "BRAKE SWITCH" NOTE: If you DO NOT have Ground then you either have an Engine Controller OR Wiring Issue. NOTE: If you have both Power and Ground the replace the UNIT. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Thomas.

A keycode anti-theif system is featured in the audio unit, if the unit and/or the battery is disconnected, the audio unit will not function again on reconnection until the correct security code is entered. You will need to provide proof of ownership and a legitimate reason for wanting this information, the vehicle's selling dealer may be able to help. Note that these units will allow only ten attempts at entering the code - any further attempts will render the unit permanently inoperative until it has been reprogrammed by the dealer themselves. At first, three consecutive attempts are allowed; if all three are incorrect , a 30 minute delay is required before another attempt can be made. Each of any subsequent attempts (up to the maximum of ten) can be made only after a similar delay.
