What causes the oil filter housing to leak - it is
If there is a spacer between the oil filter and the engine block then you would could have a bad seal on it. If its similar to a Honda there will be to hoses going to the spacer. This spacer is called the oil cooler adapter. If this is it. Take oil filter off and the remove the oil cooler nut if there is enough room you won't need to disconnect cooling lines. Pry the Adapter away from the block with screw driver. remove old seal clean surface with clean rag install new seal. Wipe a little oil around the seal just like you would the oil filter. 'Tighten snug, but don't over tighten. Not sure the correct torque for this. Hope this helps you. This similar problem occurred on my 1995 Honda Odyssey.
Why does my windshield wipers come on when I turn my left turn signal on
Perhaps a screw fell out inside the steering column, and causes power from the turn signal to short to the wiper circuit. I saw this happen in a 1972 GMC pickup truck, where a screw fell out and caused the horn to sound when the turn signal was activated. The screw was laying across the two circuits, and when the signal was powered up, the horn was also , on an intermittent basis. Had torent a steering wheel puller from the auto parts store.
1996 cabrio dash lights out-fuses/panel changed
Try to find a schematic and see which wire burns the back lights. Apparently it is not getting power or at least not getting power to the dash panel. It could be a loose wire or it could be the wrong wiring pattern. Most cars have four or five different types of wiring harnesses that they use on them, you have to find the exact wiring harness and see if it matches your new dash panel. Had the same problem with a Ford Truck, finally found the wire going to the back lights and spliced into another wire that came on when the switch was pulled and spliced the back lights into it. Hope this will help, contact me if I can be of another assistance. I know this wasn't much help but it is about all I know to do and what I have always done when I have the same problem with one. It's not uncommon for the back lights not to work when changing one out. Seems like everything is fine until you get into it at night and can't see anything.
