I did a computer diagnostic an got a CTS an fuel temperature sensor trouble code.Both were replaced an problem still exists. I've cleaned the AIV an Air regulator. I have a multimeter but the thing is all greek to me.. no matter what I touch it says 1 for ohms even when I touch nothing.. -This is what happened last night an this is why im posting the thread.Last night I took all the connectors apart an inspected an cleaned.I started with the CAS. I thought that ya had to take the screws out to remove connector but ya don't.There was corrosion build up an I didn't have my contact cleaner so my dumb **** used WD40 on all connections.. I took the Power transistor connections apart an cleaned an inspected an sprayed WD40 in all connections.There was hardly no corrosion build up. I took Fuel Injector connections off an 80% of them were covered with green corrosion. The plastic connection on the side with the wire was very fragile an broke apart when pin was being removed.So I left pins off when I reassembled. - Scraped an sprayed with WD40 again. After I reassembled everything an I jumped in an tried to start with no luck(Gas smell). So I did my routine,to get to start/remove fuel pump fuse to clear flooded engine "Cranked"/reinserted.Unhook CTS an Cranking while holding throttle wide open an feathering a little bit is the only way to get anything. Finally it fired an squealed like a pig an lots of gas filled white/gray smoke filled the garage that came mostly from 2,4,6..(left bank) -So now after squeal stopped an smoke quit I noticed it was missing really badly.. I took all the connections back off an sprayed with contact cleaner to remove the WD40.. Still missed badly.. Removed all spark plugs an #1 was black as night.. I noticed there was oil on plug wire where it connected to the plug,so im hoping that was the issue.. Replaced Plugs. -I tightened my belts up,,, an im hoping to try an hook timing light up but cannot find a place to hook up clamp for light on #1 plug wire.. I have yet to get a Pathfinder plug wire...Does #1 spark plug have to be firing to check time?????????? Cause I already had a Allen wrench on end of plug wire while grounded but wasn't sure it would be a good idea if the plug wasn't firing.. -What gets me is after first starts of the day it ran fine an started easily.. But there is a little miss on the left bank... I want to check coils with multimeter but don't know what setting to set it at or wich prongs to touch.. I know I need ohm setting an I need to compare but it isn't getting a reading.. Well thats my story for the week ... If this new plug doesn't miss an foul again im gonna use the hairdryer to heat up electrical parts.. Coils, CTS, ECT.. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Right now I have blankets on the engine to keep the chill off engine lol.. Thanks
