Did you look to see if its stuck? If so try wd40 and work it back and forth to loosen it up.

you have to take the airbag off first ,look at the back of the spokes and their you will see a hole in each spoke directly behind the airbag ,not sure but three types of fixing are normally used ,either a star headed screw / 7mm headed bolt / or the most difficult which is a spring clip sort of thing ,whatever you dop disconnect the battery before you try anything and once its fixing is removed then put a crash helmet on before you lift it out as any static electric can trigger the airbag and can cause a slight headache to say the least

This is only a guess. I don't know anything about Mercedes. try the transmission dipstick hole. Generally all cars use the transmission dipstick hole to add transmission fluid. ONCE YOU GET NEW OIL FILTER AND O - RINGS INSTALL THEM IN THE OIL FILTER HOUSING.LOCATED OIL FILLER CAP ON VALVE COVER UNDER THE HOOD.REMOVE OIL FILLER CAP.POUR OIL IN ENGINE USING A FUNNEL.ENGINE HOLDS ABOUT 8.5 TO 9.0 QUARTS OIL. BUT LOOK IN THE OWNERS MANUAL CHECK HOW MANY QUARTS ENGINE NEED.CHECK OIL DIP STICK OIL LEVEL SHOULD BE ON THE FULL MARK ON THE ENGINE OIL DIP STICK.TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE BUY 10 QUARTS OF OIL FOR A EXTRA.DONT OVER FILL MAKE SURE YOUR OIL LEVEL CORRECT.OIL DRAIN PLUG AND OIL FILTER TIGHT BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.LOOK IN THE OWNERS MANUAL FOR OIL DIP STICK AND LOCATION.

Check for something obstructing the daylight sensor.

could be numerous reasons for this could be as simple as a bad gas cap or could be something serve only way to tell is to get codes scanned most parts stores will do this for free

I cannot find a diagram mercedes doesnt like to put out a bunch of literature as they want you to take it to the dealer for everything. What i would do, is call a dealer closest to you, talk to the parts department... tell them you need a diagram of the fuse box and ask them to print one so you can pick it up. If this doesnt work..let me know and i will do it for you and fax it or email it to you.

The passenger side window motor is surely faulty that's why it's burning. Please have it replaced before the damage gets worst. Regarding the car not moving, there are few things to look at...

- Transmission solenoids can be faulty
- Transmission fluid may be burnt
- Torque converter may be worn out

You will need to have them checked and replaced if necessary.

if your car left hand drive please forward front passenger seat if your car right hand drive need to forward driver seat, then fully fold backrest to forward then you can see under the seat carpet have been cut by 3 side you have to fold that carpet to front, after that you can see the battery in it in this particular model very hard to replace battery and also risky some time need to remove seat, in your car have two batteries both sitting in under the seat and also, need to be check both batteries, you may need to get experience technicians hand to do that, some impotent control units and fuse boxes has fixed close to battery, when you going to replace the battery if get some thing wrong you may have to be loose lots of money if you do it by experience technician it's only jest one our job I would like to advise you to get it in to Mercedes dealer to do it after replace battery it's need to be check charging rate and normalize many electronic component and erase all fault codes this is the best way it's up to you. is this information helped you? please leave a comment.

Hi, do you mean that the rear entertainment system will not read dvd disc?
If that be the case, you have a weak lens in the DVD player with either needs to be serviced or changed..

even I am seeing the same issue on my GL450 AND I bought Certified Pre Owned in March 2010 same model as yours. Last time when I had this MB service updated software but that didn't fix it. Now they cannot reproduce the same so couldn't apply any fix. Please let me know if you were able to get it fixed

hmm, ive heard good things about the porsche cayene, volkswagen makes the tiguan and toureg both offered in a diesel model which can burn tru bio fuels. the land rovers are a little better for the off road,a little easier to tip though.theres always the mercedes g wagons,not a bad choice
