My neon makes a squeaking noise as you drive slowly. It is noticeable between 0km/hr - 40km/hr. Can't be heard at higher speeds. It goes away after a bit of driving, but comes back after the car has been parked for a few minutes or so.
take the front wheels off and look between the brake scratch plate and the rotor. - a stone trapped there will cause this noise. Also between the driveshaft and the hub, where the shaft enters the hub at the back. l
Look too for either a support bracket for a brake line or ABS wiring touching the driveshaft. Also there is an antisqueal spring on the back of the brake calipers someotimes this will touch the outside of the brake rotor, you'll see a shiny mark on the rotor if something is touching. Also the scratch plate on the back of the rotor can touch the inside of the wheel rim, again look for a shiny mark all the way around the inside of the rim. Lastly look at the face of the brake rotor for a circular scratch - indicates a stone stuck in the brake pad. Have fun!

Does anybody know where this circuit is? Or how to fix this problem?
If the converter clutch does not lock at all it may be a problem with the ECM, or some problem with the emissions or sensors have the ECM "out of loop". (in which case the "Check Engine" appears) If the converter clutch is hanging engaged, killing the engine at stops, that is more likely a problem with a solenoid valve in the transaxle. You will need to consult a manual covering the transaxle for the location of the solenoid.

oil in spark plug wells I just found out that I also have oil in one of my spark plug wells and need to know if this is a major fix?
not really the valve cover needs replaced get a valve cover gasket kit it will come with the gaskets that cover the spark plugs .if you let it go after a while it will contaminate or spark plugs wires and cause a misfire or your car will start missing.please rate this answer thanks.

I need to know how to remove the tensioner pulley in a 2003 dodge neon. Everything I have found so far, including the haynes manual says remove the engine mount and then remove the pulley but that doesn't work!
the tensioner is part of the engine mount bracket..not serviced seperately as far as i know

I have a chrysler neon 2000, recently I noticed that the brake oil is leaking for the left side rear wheel. what could the problem be? thanks
If it is leaking from the top area of the plate, and you have drum brakes...then the wheel cylinder is leaking.

need wiring diagram for 2000 dodge neon
Car won't start.
Changed starter and starter relay.
want to check ignition wiring.
i would recommend buying a Haynes manual, as they have very good diagrams and schematics. If you do not want to buy one, though, you can create an online garage on Autozone.com by registering (which is free) and add your car to the garage to get access to a free manual online. These manuals are kind of hit-or-miss, though, and i have had mixed results with them. But for free, it is worth looking into first.
i hope this helps,
matthew

how to fix code p1193 on a neon 2000
P1193 is an intake air temp code, there is a sensor somewhere within the filter box or the intake tube (large rubber tube running to the intake) with a plug that normally has two wires. You can remove the sensor and clean it (this will sometimes fix the problem) or replace it. You should reset the codes to verify the fix.

Where is the Power steering pressure switch located? Don't see it on the pump or the hard lines.
Power steering pressure switch is shaped somewhat like a spark plug (a bit too fat) threaded at one end and having a cylindrical plastic body at other end. It is on the hose connecting the power steering pump with the rack and pinion.
