It sounds like an O2 sensor or an EGR valve, maybe even a vacuum leak

The injector is just an electric solenoid, so there is not any real polarity, just do all are wired the same.

First thing i would do is give it a complete tune up, to include plugs,cap, rotor, wires,fuel filter,air filter and fuel system cleaner. Good luck

Does it have an alarm fitted? If so the alarm needs resetting/fixing If not there is a short on the wiring on the horn button or the clockspring under the steering wheel is faulty

What did you do? lol Retrace your steps carefully because you must of forgot something. Is it turning over? If so, make sure your coil wire is connected.
