I'd have to check your evap system. Any applicable trouble codes? When you fill-up, the air in the tank has to go somewhere or it will burp back-up the fill pipe and shut off the gas pump. I'm not that familiar with your particular emission system. Just my 2 cents.

does the engine crank when you try to start it or does it act as if the battery is dead? no crank or slow crank?

You will need a wiring diagram but test the power to the column multi plug to see if power is available. Then carefully ground that wire and see if the horn sounds. The horn contact is basically a brass ring and a sliding contact to allow the passage of current as the wheel is turned. Operating the horn is just grounding the supply via the ring. It works off the FOB by a separate relay triggered by the signal.

Well first of all it's a gear or transmission issue, cost some $$$
